Program Overview
The M1 International Track in France, site Evry, is a Master's program designed to provide students with a solid and broad-based foundation in Life Sciences and Health. The program is taught entirely in English during the first year and welcomes both international and national students who wish to experience a global academic environment on a world-class and highly competitive campus in Europe.
Objectives
The primary aim of the program is to give students strong disciplinary knowledge across key areas of modern biology while fostering the ability to analyze scientific literature, design and carry out research projects, and tackle concrete biological questions. The program features a carefully designed curriculum with a Major to deepen expertise, elective courses to broaden perspective, and a dedicated Research Training block.
Program Structure
The program consists of four complementary blocks:
- Core Courses (17.5 ECTS): A springboard to acquire essential foundations including language and intercultural competencies, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, signaling, and genomics along with the key methodological tools needed to explore today’s leading fields in biology.
- Electives (30 ECTS): The heart of the M1, giving focus to studies and allowing students to dive deeper into their chosen scientific area.
- Research Training (12.5 ECTS): Step into real research with a literature review and a hands-on internship.
- Internship: A minimum 8 weeks internship is included in the program.

Admission
Admission is a two-step process:
- Application review based on academic performance, motivation, and career goals.
- Online interview for shortlisted candidates.
