Program Overview

The M1 Parisian Research Master in Computer Science (MPRI) is a full-time academic program that offers a research internship in a research lab abroad. The program is taught in English and French and is designed to develop a research activity in fundamental computer science.


Objectives

The program prepares students for a doctorate in computer science theory and more generally for a research career. It offers an excellent preparation to M2 MPRI. The year's objective is to perfect fundamental skills and discover their various applications in Computer Science theory.

Admission

The admission route is through the Informatique program. The capacity is 30 available places.


Public and Prerequisites

The program is aimed at students with solid bases in fundamental computer science: algorithmics, calculability, automata, logic, functional programming, discrete mathematics, graphs, etc. No English language certificate is required.


Application Period

The application period is from February 25, 2026, to April 25, 2026.
