Program Overview
The M2 Development of Drugs and Health Products is a master's program that aims to train future managers in the pharmaceutical field with a versatile, scientific, and technical expertise, and an opening-up to socio-economic world and/or research laboratories.
Program Objectives
The objective of this multidisciplinary master is to provide advanced knowledge on the main pathologies and their underlying mechanisms in order to improve strategies to implement diagnosis, innovative treatment, and prevention.
Program Structure
The M2 is composed of 2 semesters:
- The first semester offers theoretical and practical courses (including core and optional courses, group works, case studies, and research specialization)
- The second semester is dedicated to a 6-month internship. At the end of their internship, the students have to defend their master's thesis during an international symposium organized by the M1 D2HP students.
Axes of Specialization
At the M2 level, the students specialize by choosing 2 of the 3 axes:
- Axis 1: Current issues in the major pathologies
- Axis 1 + Axis 2: Pharmacist's toolbox
- Axis 1 + Axis 3: Transversal pharmaceutical disciplines
- Axis 2 + Axis 3: Transversal pharmaceutical disciplines

- Identify the current issues in major pathologies to implement treatments and adequate preventive measures

Admission Criteria
Admission is possible for:
- Students who have validated the M1 D2HP or a related field (biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or biochemistry) in a university offering a comparable level of education
- PharmD, MD who have validated the 5th year of study or an equivalent M1 in France or the EU
- Students with an engineering degree in the health field with an equivalent M1 in France or the EU
- Individuals in continuing education in the health field, with their dossier evaluated on a case-by-case basis
