Program Overview
The M2 Sport leisure and event management program is a full-time academic program that focuses on the management of sport, particularly international sporting events. The program is taught in English and is unique in France as it is the only one to be delivered in a public university.
Program Structure
The program is structured around four teaching modules:
- The first module covers transversal courses in sport management, including case studies and CSR in sport.
- The second module focuses on Marketing and Communication, covering topics such as marketing, branding, sports media, and sport economics.
- The third module is dedicated to sport event management, including event organization, sports law, and organizers' strategies.
- The fourth module covers the master's thesis, internship, and project management.
Program Objectives
The program aims to train students in all aspects of event management, including sponsorship, media rights, press, logistics, social media, administration, competition, ticketing, catering, volunteering, spectator services, host-territories, and more. The program features speakers from both the academic world and the business of sporting events.
Skills and Competencies
The program develops and organizes a sporting event in an international context, providing students with the skills and competencies necessary to manage international sporting events.
Admission Criteria
The program is open to students who have completed four years of study (equivalent to a Master's degree) in fields such as economics, management, commerce, political science, law, engineering, and more. However, students without an academic background in sport management and event organization can still apply if they have relevant experience or have developed their skills through internships, volunteering, or research projects.

The application period for the program is from February 15, 2026, to March 31, 2026.

Applicants must provide the following compulsory supporting documents:
- Copy of identity document
- Motivation letter
- All transcripts of the years/semesters validated since the high school diploma
- Curriculum Vitae Additional supporting documents may include:
- VAP file (obligatory for all persons requesting a valuation of the assets to enter the diploma)
- Residence permit or receipt of request stating the country of residence
- Proof of comparability of diplomas (compulsory for students who cannot justify a university degree)
