Software Engineering
The Software Engineering program at the University of Southern Denmark is a BSc in Engineering degree that focuses on developing software solutions for various industries. Entry Requirements and Admission
The admission requirements for the program include a foreign exam, and applicants must apply for admission no later than 15 March at 12:00 noon. The required GPA in 2025 is all qualified applicants admitted, and the allocation in quota 1/quota 2 is 60/40.
Programme Structure
The program consists of six semesters, with each semester focusing on a specific theme. The first semester focuses on software programming, the second semester on developing software systems, and the third semester on distributed interactive software systems. The fourth semester focuses on intelligent component-based software systems, the fifth semester on cyber-security and mobile software systems, and the sixth semester on project collaboration and the bachelor project.

As a software engineer, graduates have splendid and several career opportunities in Denmark and abroad. With a MSc in Software Engineering, graduates can get a job as a software developer, mobile application developer, system developer, system consultant, product manager, data scientist, project manager, IT strategy manager, or project manager.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for non-EU/EEA students is EUR 7500 per semester (30 ECTS).
