Master Programme
This Master’s programme provides advanced knowledge and skills in business economics, marketing, management, communication, culture, and negotiation. It prepares students to take on key decision-making roles in international organisations and enterprises.
Programme Description
The curriculum integrates economics, marketing, and management with negotiation, language, and intercultural communication. Equal emphasis is placed on the social sciences and the linguistic-cultural dimensions of international business.
Specialisations
Students choose a main language based on their prior qualifications from their bachelor’s degree (English or German). They also select one of five specialisations, each drawing on leading research environments within both the humanities and the social sciences:
- International Relations
- Human Resource Management
- International Market Relation
- International Communication Management
- Global Marketing Management
Programme Structure
In addition to their specialisation, students take common courses shared across the programme and have the opportunity to choose electives tailored to their interests. The programme concludes with the completion of a Master’s thesis.
Teaching is conducted in English. If students choose German as their main language, language-specific courses will be taught in German.

- New master’s degree opportunities from 2028: As of the 2028 intake, students will be able to study the programme at SDU as a 1-year or a master’s degree for working professionals.
