Program Overview

Specialization Course on Fire Behaviour

General Objectives of the Course

The Specialization Course on Fire Behaviour aims to equip SGIFR agents responsible for risk identification, strategy definition, procedures, and organization for preparation, prevention, suppression, and rescue with the best knowledge and skills in real-time and anticipatory analysis of fire behavior. This is achieved through the use of decision support tools, enabling the adoption of the most appropriate decisions based on intensity, severity, potential expansion, suppression capacities, and protection needs, as well as the identification and proposal of continuous improvements.
