The program's learning objectives and intended skills are to:
- Acquire the skills to correctly, effectively, and creatively produce oral and written messages for diverse audiences.
- Acquire skills to analyze, organize, and communicate using a variety of supports, different types of information with distinct ends.
- Master the theory and practical tools that encourage thinking and using the terminology relevant to each traditional means of communication in their modern multimedia usage.
- Employ the technologies and systems currently in use to select, formulate, and transmit information, as well as the principal trends and theories that create and criticize them.
- Learn to read and analyze specialized texts and documents on any relevant theme, and summarize or adapt them using language that the general public can understand.
- Master the principles of professional ethics in journalism and communication as well as those of legal communication.
