Program Overview

The Training Course in Themes of Coastal Tourism is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics and challenges associated with coastal and maritime spaces, particularly in the context of tourist production and consumption. This course aims to introduce social sciences and anthropogenic processes into multidisciplinary knowledge about the sea cluster and coastal areas.


General Objectives

The course objectives include:


  • Critically analyzing and evaluating situations associated with the sea cluster
  • Interpreting natural and anthropic dynamics and processes
  • Recognizing and making an inventory of the material and immaterial coastal heritage
  • Reflecting on the importance of tourism in coastal and maritime activities
  • Identifying and comparing best practices within the blue economy and coastal communities
  • Understanding the systemic value of sustainability at the land/sea interface

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in any scientific area
