Program Overview


Program Overview

The Cybersecurity Certificate (Graduate) is a 12-credit, four-course program that exposes students to cybersecurity technical concepts related to the design, monitoring, auditing, and maintenance of a resilient and redundant organizational infrastructure. Courses teach students how to secure cyber incident scenes, preserve evidence, and use forensic tools. All credits in this certificate may be applied toward the Master of Science Graduate Degree in Cyber Technology. Students will also have the opportunity to earn a relevant professional industry certification in this area during their studies.

  • CPST 6200: Cybersecurity/InfoSec (3 credits)
  • CSMT 7500: IT Sec Auditing & Monitoring (3 credits)
  • CSMT 7700: Cyber Network & Tele Security (3 credits)
  • CSMT 7870: Cyber Incident Res & Forensics (3 credits) Total Credit Hours: 12
