Program Overview
The Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) in Labor and Employment Law is a post-baccalaureate degree designed for non-legal professionals seeking to enhance their career-related skills through the study of laws, governmental policy, and the legal system. This degree infuses career-based knowledge with legal education, ideal for human resource professionals and those in management and leadership roles with personnel responsibilities.
Program Requirements
The program requires the completion of 30 credit hours and typically takes two years to complete. It is delivered in a hybrid format, with most coursework completed online and a one-time on-campus Education Immersion Weekend.

On-Site Education Immersion Weekend (EIW)
All students must attend one EIW to be eligible to receive the Master's degree. The EIW is designed to supplement the online curriculum, provide networking opportunities, and offer a tangible link between students and the law school. The course is not offered for credit, but attendance is required for program completion.
