Program Overview
Conflict Resolution Certificate
The Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution equips students with essential communication, emotional intelligence, and negotiation skills. The 15-credit hour certificate program focuses on understanding perception, culture, and values to enhance conflict resolution in various settings. Students learn to develop interest-based solutions, evaluate consumer conflict situations, and apply strategies to preserve and enhance relationships. The program aligns with the Department’s mission to generate new knowledge in consumer sciences and improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. For main-campus students, most classes are completed in a face-to-face learning environment. Online students will complete all courses in an online, asynchronous format.
