Modules

The course consists of two modules:


  • Module 1: Financial Markets and Institutions, 7.5 credits
    • Introduces students to the institutional environment of financial transactions
    • Covers the role of central banks, regulations, and innovations in financial markets
    • Discusses the operations of financial intermediaries and the differences between capital and money markets
  • Module 2: Financial Planning, 7.5 credits
    • Focuses on elements of financial planning, including client profiling, tax, insurance, and estate planning
    • Introduces students to the role of the financial planner and the regulatory environment affecting financial planners in Sweden

Focus of Instruction

  • Eligibility: 60 credits in Business Administration, with approved 45 credits at Basic level (A-level) and Intermediate level (B-level) or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English: Equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English 6/level 2
