About the Programme

The program gives you the opportunity to combine knowledge from your bachelor studies with new insights on digitalization and its effect on private enterprises and public organizations alike. With a master's degree in Digital management and innovation, you are equipped to handle the intersection of digital technology, business, and innovation and drive digital change. Being a student in Digital Management and Innovation means an active search for knowledge, problem solving and critical analyses based on a scientific approach. The working methods vary between individual study work, group work, live cases, seminars and lectures. The program is tightly coupled to practice with a strong research component. Our collaboration with partner firms provides you with opportunities to develop your analytical and managerial skills. The program combines subject knowledge in digital management with strong ties to practice. You learn to work with a scientific approach that is valuable for evaluation work, management, consulting, digital transformation, business development, and entrepreneurship. The courses are taught by internationally established researchers all of which are working on digital management and -innovation issues, and hold extensive experience with collaboration with leading firms.

Eligibility

  • Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English B/6.
  • A Bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, 180 ECTS) from an internationally recognised university.
  • Special requirements: 90 ECTS in one of the following subjects; Informatics, Business Administration, Pedagogy, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Computer Science, (or equivalent).

After completing the program, 60 credits, students may, on application, obtain a Filosofie Magisterexamen in accordance with the Local Qalifications Ordinance approved by the Vice Chancellor. Filosofie Magisterexamen translates in English to Degree of Master of Science 60 credits. The degree is awarded in the main field of study, Informatics with specialisation in Digital management and innovation. After completing the program, 120 credits, students may, on application, obtain a Filosofie Masterexamen in accordance with the Local Qualifications Ordinance approved by the Vice Chancellor. Filosofie Masterexamen translates in English to Degree of Master of Science 120 credits. The degree is awarded in the main field of study, Informatics with specialisation in Digital management and innovation.
