Program Overview


Media, Communication and Sustainable Development

This course is about media, communication and journalism and its significance for sustainable development in society, both locally and globally. The course offers a broad knowledge base when it comes to relevant theoretical perspectives in the area and illustrates what role(s) media, communication and journalism can play when it comes to sustainable development and social change. The students practice their ability to apply the knowledge in both critical analysis and planning of communication within specific fields of their own choice that relates to both United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals, and media, communication, journalism or citizen engagement.
