Overview

The Nordic Outdoor Life course is a 7.5-credit program that applies cultural, historical, sociological, political, and pedagogical perspectives on Nordic outdoor life. The course focuses on basic knowledge and understanding of trends and traditions in outdoor life in Scandinavia, particularly Sweden. It also covers planning, organizing, and carrying out safe outdoor recreation activities.
