Introduction to Asian Studies

The Asian Studies program is an innovative concept closely related to the need for knowledge of Oriental languages and the conditions of individual cultures. This program prepares graduates to function in an international work environment.

Programme Description

Asian Studies are an extremely original combination of effective teaching of Oriental languages and a wide range of social, economic, and cultural issues. The program aims to familiarize students with global problems and political, socio-economic, and cultural transformations in Asia, including the Middle and the Far East.

Programme Structure

• The program is a second-cycle, full-time study mode.
• The language of instruction is Polish.
• The profile is general academic.
• The duration is 2 years (4 semesters).
• The title awarded is Magister (equivalent of Master’s degree).
• The main discipline is Political Science and Public Administration.

Admission

Admission to this study program has not been held from the 2022/23 academic year. Instead, students are encouraged to check the offer of Strategic Studies on Asia.

Curriculum Overview

The program curriculum includes information about the subjects attended during the studies, indicating which subjects are scheduled for each semester, which are mandatory, and which belong to the group of elective subjects.
