Introduction to the Dietetics Program
The Dietetics program at Jagiellonian University is a response to the growing public awareness of lifestyle, particularly in terms of diet, as an element of lifestyle that contributes to maintaining total health and may be a risk factor for many ailments and diseases.
Program Description
The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote a healthy lifestyle, with the ability to expand their knowledge independently and critically analyze problems and abnormal patient behavior. Students will participate in multidisciplinary teams dealing with treatment issues and preventing diseases caused by improper diet.

Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine is a thriving, modern, and most significant unit of the Jagiellonian University – Collegium Medicum, boasting excellent research and teaching staff. The high level of education at the faculty has been confirmed by awarding the scientific category A in the classification of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the prestigious status of the National Scientific Leading Center KNOW in a scientific consortium with the Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków.
