Introduction to the Social Policy Management Program
The Social Policy Management program at the Jagiellonian University prepares graduates to become future leaders and managers of public and economic organizations and NGOs, mainly carrying out social policy tasks. This program aims to equip students with the skills necessary to understand how to manage the permanent transformation of public affairs in a modern way, mainly in the area of social policy.
Program Description
The program focuses on providing managers with tools to react to current and future challenges that governments, local governments, companies, and civil society organizations will face. It allows knowledge to make effective management decisions by going beyond traditional patterns and using innovative solutions.

Faculty of Management and Social Communication
The Faculty of Management and Social Communication has the A category granted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and was honored for education by the State Accreditation Committee. The variety of fields of studies conducted by the faculty makes this unit one of the best interdisciplinary faculties of the Jagiellonian University.
Institute of Public Affairs
The study program is offered by the Institute of Public Affairs, which is a part of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication. The Institute's main aim is to research the scope of the functioning of the public sphere and education of managers for the public and non-governmental sector in Poland and collaborate with municipal, regional, and ministerial authorities and civic organizations that support the modernizing public industry.
Curriculum Overview

The program indicates which subjects are scheduled for each semester of the studies, which are mandatory, which belong to the group of elective subjects (so-called optional subjects), which of them end with an exam, and which do not.
