Ukrainian for Business and Tourism (with Russian)
Faculty of Philology
The Ukrainian for Business and Tourism (with Russian) program is offered by the Faculty of Philology at Jagiellonian University. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Ukrainian language, as well as Russian, and their applications in business and tourism.
Programme Description
- The program is taught in Polish, and students are required to have a sufficient level of Polish language proficiency.
- The program focuses on teaching Ukrainian to the level C1 and Russian to the level B1.
- Students will learn specialist language in law, business, and tourism, and will have the opportunity to study with native speakers.
- The program includes classes on translation, conducted by sworn translators and translators of contemporary Ukrainian literature.
- Students will have the opportunity to study in centers for Ukrainian language in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary under the Erasmus+ program.
- Outstanding students will be granted the B. Łysiak scholarship.
