Europubhealth+, European Public Health Master

The Europubhealth+ Programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree that has been supported and recognized as a Master of Excellence by the European Commission since 2006.


Programme Overview

The Europubhealth+ Master Programme is a 2-year multidisciplinary Master course in public health with 7 different specialisations on offer, delivered by a consortium of 8 European Universities, leading to an internationally recognized double Master’s degree. The programme offers an intercultural environment of study, in up to 3 languages: English, Spanish or French.


Structure and Curriculum

  • First year Foundation course:
    • Core competencies in public health (57 ECTS) in Granada, Dublin, Liege, or Sheffield
    • Integration Module (3 ECTS) in Rennes
  • Second year Specialisations:
    • Health Services Management and Digital Transformation (57 ECTS) in Granada
    • Advanced Biostatistics and Epidemiology (57 ECTS) in Rennes
    • Health and Environment in a context of Climate Change (57 ECTS) in Rennes
    • Public Health Data Science (57 ECTS) in Bordeaux
    • Leadership in European Public Health (57 ECTS) in Maastricht
    • Governance and Economics of Health Systems in Transition (57 ECTS) in Krakow
    • Health Promotion and Prevention (57 ECTS) in Rennes
    • Integration Module (3 ECTS)

Awarded Degrees

Graduates from Europubhealth+ receive a Double Master’s Degree, one from each University of the chosen pathway. Both official national degrees are completed by a Europubhealth+ Certificate of Achievement and a joint diploma supplement, detailing the chosen pathway, marks and grading scales.
