Chemical Pathology Program

The Chemical Pathology program is a branch of pathology dealing with the biochemistry of disease processes and the measurement of metabolites present in bodily fluids to facilitate diagnosis.

Entry Requirements

  • Masters degree in Biochemistry/Clinical Chemistry/Chemical Pathology from a recognized university.
  • A supervisor from the Department of Chemical Pathology must be identified and approached prior to application.
  • Approval letter from the respective supervisor(s) and Head of the Department is required to be attached with the application.
  • Confirmation of Supervision form.

University Application Process

Applications are handled centrally by the Student Enrolment Centre (SEnC). Once the application is complete in terms of requested documentation, it will be referred to the relevant School for assessment.
