The Computer Science Preliminary Course is a preparatory program designed for future students who wish to build a firm foundation for their further studies in the BSc program of Computer Science. This program is particularly recommended for students who have been admitted to the Computer Science BSc program but cannot reach the minimum level in the entrance examination.

Program Structure

The curriculum of the Preliminary Course is assembled on topics relevant to a Computer Science BSc program, including:

• Scratch Programming (IP-18fPRESPROGEG, 4 hours, 4 credits)

The successfully completed Preliminary Course automatically ensures admission to the Faculty’s Computer Science BSc program.

Admission Requirements

• Entry requirements: Applicants are required to have sufficiently good grades in their secondary school finishing documents, especially in Mathematics. Intermediate level of English knowledge is also required.
• Language requirements: Minimum level of language proficiency (oral) (A1-C2): B1, Minimum level of language proficiency (written) (A1-C2): B1

Application Procedure

The application starts on the online application system. Students need to register in the system, fill in the online application form, upload the required documents, and follow the instructions during the application process.

Tuition Fees

• EU/EEA students: 3,200 EUR per semester
• Non-EU/EEA students: 3,200 EUR per semester
• Application fee: 150 EUR (non-refundable)
