Educational Science MA Program

The Master of Arts (MA) program in Educational Science at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) equips students with advanced knowledge and practical skills for diverse roles in education. Admission Requirements

• Entry Requirements: Full acknowledgement is given for specific degrees, with conditionally accepted bachelor’s degrees considered if the applicant possesses 50 credits in relevant fields.
• Transcript of Grades: Applicants should provide a transcript of records from the last two years, including a sealed, signed, and dated diploma.
• Motivation Letter: A letter articulating reasons for wanting to study in Hungary, specifically in Budapest, at the university, faculty, and the chosen program, detailing introduction to education science, suitability for the program, desired specialization, future plans, and the program's relevance to those plans.
• Reference Work: A reference work within the field of education science, written in English, demonstrating familiarity with the academic genre and style of the discipline.
• Language Requirements: Minimum level of language proficiency (oral and written): C1

Tuition Fees and Other Costs

• Tuition Fee/Semester: 3250 EUR for both EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA students
• Application Fee: 120 EUR (non-refundable)
• Entrance Exam Fee: 120 EUR (non-refundable)

Application Procedure

• The application starts in the online application system.
• Students need to register, fill in the online application form, upload required documents, and follow instructions during the application process.
• The application and entrance exam fee should be paid using the Epay system.
• The deadline for application means the deadline of submission of the full and complete application package in the online system.

• The program is not available for Hungarian citizens.
• The language of instruction for the entire program is English, requiring a very good command of English during the oral entrance exam and throughout the program.
