The Ethnic and Minority Policy MA program at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) is designed to prepare future professionals to address the challenges of diverse societies. The program combines academic excellence with hands-on relevance for careers across public service, civil society, media, education, and international organizations.

• The program is a master's degree program with a duration of 4 semesters (2 years).
• It is offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Social Relations, Department of Minority Studies.

Admission Requirements

• Applicants must have a BA degree primarily in the fields of social sciences, humanities, pedagogy, law, or economics.
• Certification of English knowledge (both written and oral) is required, with a minimum B2 level.
• The application process includes an oral entrance exam, which assesses the applicant's general and professional knowledge and interest.
• Documents to submit with the application include:

  • Copy of the main pages of the passport
  • Motivation letter
  • Copy of application fee transfer
  • Language certificate

Tuition Fees

• EU/EEA students: 1550 EUR per semester
• Non-EU/EEA students: 3500 EUR per semester
• Application fee: 50-200 EUR, depending on the application period

Application Procedure

• The application starts at the online application system.
• Students need to register in the system, fill in the online application form, upload the required documents, and follow the instructions during the application process.
• The application deadline refers to the final submission of the complete application package through the online application system.
• There are four application periods: Super Early Bird, Early Bird, Regular, and Last Call.
