The program is delivered through a combination of structured learning, small group seminars, and practical workshops. Students engage in 30 hours of weekly contact time, supplemented by self-guided study tailored to their degree program and specific module requirements.

Assessment

Student progress is assessed through coursework and exams. Coursework takes a variety of forms, including reports, essays, group presentations, class essays, and computer assignments. Students must achieve satisfactory results to proceed to the next year, and their final degree is based on marks gained in the second and third years and credits built up throughout the whole program.

Entry Requirements

To secure a place at the University of Birmingham Dubai, students must meet both the general entry requirements and the specific criteria for their chosen course. The typical offer for the BSc Business Management program is AAB-BBB, with GCSE Mathematics at grade 5/B and English at grade 6/B required.

International Baccalaureate Diploma

6,6,5 at Higher Level with a minimum of 32 points overall and SL/HL Mathematics at 5.

Fees and Scholarships

The University tuition fee covers the cost of tuition, examination, and graduation. For the BSc Business Management program starting in September 2026, the full-time tuition fee is AED 134,922 per year.
