Program Overview

The University of Birmingham Dubai offers a Business Management with Economics (Dubai) BSc program, which is accredited by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This program is designed to provide students with specialized economic skills to conquer today's global challenges.

Course Structure

The 3-year program includes core modules that equip students with specialized skills in economic decision-making, while providing knowledge of business management and transferable skills necessary to apply this knowledge in new and challenging contexts.

Year 1

Entry Requirements

• Typical offer: AAB-BBB
• General entry requirements:
  • 3 A Levels, with GCSE Mathematics at grade A and English at grade B required.
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma: 6,6,5 at Higher Level with a minimum of 32 points overall and SL/HL Mathematics at 5.
  • GULF: Please view the Middle East section on the international country page for further information on entry requirements.
  • India: AAA = 80% ISC, CBSE, Maharashtra or 80% West Bengal or 90% Other State boards. Mathematics must be taken with an A grade equivalency achieved.
  • Pakistan: The University will consider students who have taken A Level examinations and/or the International Baccalaureate (IB). Requirements for each of these qualifications are listed above.
  • American System: Either a total of 3 distinct subject tests from APs and/or SAT subject tests or one year at a Community College or USA University.
• English language requirements: Demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English with IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or alternative qualifications.

Fees and Scholarships

• Tuition fee: AED 134,922 per year (full-time, September 2026)
• Paying tuition fees: Annual tuition fee, payable in full or in three instalments per year of study.
• Scholarships: Available at the Dubai campus for students with the potential to thrive.
