The MSc Human Resource Management course at the University of Birmingham Dubai emphasizes responsible business, decent work, and exemplary people management. It prepares students to lead with integrity and impact in a globalized world.

Course Structure

This course will run over 12 months in full-time mode or 24 months in part-time mode.

Course Delivery

Our Human Resource Management Masters degree includes a wide variety of learning and teaching, such as:

• Taught modules – these include lectures, seminars, class discussions, readings, case studies, media, and guest speakers
• Assessments - these will include formal exams, essays, group work, and oral presentations
• Dissertation Project - choose from either a company-based dissertation or a traditional dissertation

Module Information

The modules listed for this programme are regularly reviewed to ensure they are up-to-date and informed by the latest research and teaching methods. The course comprises 180 credits, taught through a series of 20 credit modules and a 60 credit Dissertation.

Entry Requirements

To secure your place at the University of Birmingham Dubai, you must meet both our general entry requirements and the specific criteria for your chosen course.

• Applicants will have or should be expecting to achieve an Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university (or overseas equivalent) in any subject
• English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band, or equivalent qualifications

Fees and Scholarships

• AED 155,483: Full-time (September 2026) per year
• AED 77,742: Part-time (September 2026) per year
• Scholarships: Available for students with the potential to thrive at the University of Birmingham Dubai
