Overview
The BSc Mathematics with a Year in Industry program at the University of Birmingham offers students the opportunity to explore the beauty of mathematics and develop their skills with real workplace experience. Course Structure

Year 1

Entry Requirements
To secure a place on the program, students must meet the general entry requirements as well as those specific to the course, including:
- A Level: AAA to include A-level grade A in Mathematics or Further Mathematics
- IB: 6,6,6 at Higher Level, including Mathematics, with a minimum of 32 points overall
- BTEC: only considered when combined with other qualifications
Fees and Scholarships
The University tuition fee covers the cost of tuition, examination, and graduation, and includes membership of the Guild of Students. The fee for domestic (UK) students for 2026/27 is £9,535 per year. Scholarships, grants, and bursaries are available to help with the cost of studies.
