Program Overview

The Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) MEng program at the University of Birmingham is designed for students who want to develop the vehicles of the future. Entry Requirements

  • A Level: AAA to include A-level Mathematics
  • IB: 6,6,6 at Higher Level (including Mathematics) with 32 points overall
  • BTEC: Considered on a case-by-case basis, with a focus on sufficient Mathematics content
  • English language requirements: IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent qualification

  • Tuition fee: £9,535 per year for domestic (UK) students for 2026/27
