Program Overview
The MSc Financial Management programme at the University of Birmingham provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the finance sector. This course offers in-depth knowledge of corporate finance, including financial statement analysis, how to value securities and business, and financial modelling.

Course Delivery
- Taught modules – these include lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Assessments - these will include a combination of case studies, digital presentations, oral debate, written exams, individual and group assignments.
- Individual Project - over the summer term, students will work with their assigned supervisors to develop their research proposal to a full dissertation.
Module Information
The course comprises 180 credits, taught through a series of 20 credit modules and a 60 credit Dissertation. Students will study four core modules and choose two optional modules.

Entry Requirements
- 2:1 Honours degree or postgraduate diploma from a UK university (or overseas equivalent).
- English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.
Fees and Scholarships
- £18,900 for full-time study.
- Scholarships are available, including the Birmingham Business School Masters Scholarships and the Birmingham Masters scholarships.
