Course Content
The program includes revision lectures, tutorials, and hands-on practical sessions. A residential week is part of the course, where practical sessions are held, focusing on key topics such as vital pulp therapy and regenerative endodontic procedures.
Learning Outcomes
On completion, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate competency in techniques of accessing and preparing a root canal.
- Appraise the concept of tapers, canal complex anatomy, and the systems available to help prepare root canals.
- Show knowledge of different obturation techniques and decision-making on choosing the right technique for each specific case.

- Practical: 50%
- Unseen Case: 25%
- Journal Presentation: 25%
Assessment Details
- The practical assessment is undertaken over 3 hours and includes a reflection of the session.
- The unseen case assessment is undertaken over 15 minutes of exam with 15 minutes of preparation.
- The journal presentation is 15 minutes with 10 minutes of questions.
