Program Overview
The Radiation Biology course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the cellular and molecular basis of the response of cells, tissues, and tumours to ionizing radiation. This microcredential is modelled on the syllabus of the FRCR part 1 examinations and offers suitable preparation for this professional examination.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course, applicants must have:
- 6 months of oncology experience
- A degree, preferably a 2.1 or equivalent qualifications in an appropriate medical/scientific subject

Application Process
Applicants eligible for Home fees must apply a minimum of 6 weeks before the module start date, while applicants eligible for Overseas fees must apply a minimum of 3 months before the module start date.
Non-credit Short Course
The microcredential and the non-credit short course follow the same course structure, with the difference being that the non-credit short course does not include the assessment at the end, and therefore, no credits will be awarded. Instead, a certificate of completion will be provided, which cannot be converted to credits. Places on the non-credit short course are limited.
