Program Overview
Master 2 Electronics, Electrical Energy, Automation
The Master 2 Electronics, Electrical Energy, Automation is a one-year program offered by Centrale Lyon, in partnership with Université Lyon 1. The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to model, analyze, and control electrical and industrial systems.
Objectives
The program aims to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills in the fields of electronics, electrical energy, and automation. The program is divided into three courses:
- Automatics for Intelligent Systems
- Electrical Energy
- Electronics and Embedded Systems
During the program, students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to design, size, optimize, and use electrical and electromagnetic components and systems. They will also learn to model and analyze systems, master tools and methods for system design, and understand and control the various phenomena and their impact on system performance.
Program
The program is organized around theoretical and practical knowledge in automation of continuous systems as well as logic systems. The course covers the disciplines of electrical engineering, electrical energy management, power electronics, and automation.

Internship
Students must complete a 5-6 month internship in a laboratory or company.
Diploma and Certification
The program awards a national master's degree, controlled by the State.

Admission Requirements and Application
Pre-requisites
- Students holding an M1 in the fields of EEA (electronics, electrical energy, automation), physics, applied mathematics or applied computer science.
- Centrale Lyon engineering students as part of a double degree.

Applications are considered on the basis of a portfolio.

The tuition fees for the program are available upon request.
Focus
The Master 2 Electronics, Electrical Energy, Automation is a co-accredited program with Université Lyon 1. Some courses will take place on the La Doua Villeurbanne - La Doua campus.
