Student Testimonials

  1. It had been 20 years since I’d been at school, and things change; what you need to know changes. I did calculus and basic maths papers, critical thought, and physics. It was all about learning to learn again, including those all-important soft skills.
    • Greg Pearce, Master of Business Administration
  2. There was a lot of wrap-around support at Waikato, and that was really important to me.
    • Javier Doorbar, Bachelor of Business
  3. Waikato provides all the opportunities a student needs to confidently enter the workforce and add value to a business.
    • Nicole Davey, Bachelor of Business, Certificate of University Preparation
  4. I’d always thought that uni was only for high achievers. But it’s also for people who are prepared to work hard.
    • Roman Akroyd, Master of Educational Leadership, Certificate of University Preparation
  5. The science labs, especially for molecular biology subjects, are super enjoyable – they relate to current research in the field and also to ourselves as people.
    • Rebecca Prestidge, Bachelor of Science
