The Master of Artificial Intelligence program consists of two options:
Option 1
- First year: 60 points in AI subject, 60 points at 500 level
- Second year: AIMLX592 Artificial Intelligence Dissertation (60 points)
Option 2
- First year: 60 points in AI subject, 60 points at 500 level
- Second year: COMPX520 Dissertation (45 points)

Entry Requirements
For admission into the MAI, students must have:
- A relevant bachelor’s qualification as well as a B grade average or better in the 300-level papers of the degree.
- Satisfied pre-requisites for postgraduate study in Artificial Intelligence, normally met by an undergraduate qualification in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence.
Fees and Scholarships
- Estimated fees: $10,266 approximately per year (domestic students)
- Domestic tuition fees: Approximate annual tuition fees and costs for domestic students enrolled in one year of full-time study.

Graduate Outcomes
On successful completion of the Master of Artificial Intelligence, graduates will have the attributes and skills to:
