Robòtica Intel·ligent Marina i Marítima. Erasmus Mundus
Program Overview
Introduction to the Master's Program in Intelligent Marine and Maritime Robotics
The Master's program in Intelligent Marine and Maritime Robotics (MIR) is an innovative combination of robotics and artificial intelligence in the context of advancing marine and maritime science and its technological applications. This program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in marine sciences, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
Program Structure
- The program spans 2 years, consisting of 4 semestres and 120 ECTS credits.
- The first year, spent at the University of Toulon (UTLN) in France, focuses on providing a solid foundation in marine sciences, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
- In the second year, students choose one of three specialization paths:
- Robotic Applied to Submarine Intervention Missions at the UJI.
- Autonomy in Submarine Operations at the NTNU in Norway.
- Cooperative Marine Robotics for Scientific and Commercial Applications at the IST-UL in Portugal.
- The fourth semester is dedicated to the completion of a master's thesis, which can be conducted under the supervision of any of the principal or associated partner institutions of the MIR program.
