Program Overview

The University offers a Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences and Health, which aims to provide a meeting point for basic researchers in biology and biochemistry with professionals in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and psychology. This program establishes a multidisciplinary environment that fosters research in the field of health sciences.

Program Structure

The program is structured around two research teams:

• Neurociència Experimental i Clínica: Analyzes the brain, its function, and dysfunction in humans and animal models, from the molecular to the behavioral level.
• Epidemiologia, Innovació Clínica i Tecnologies Mèdiques: Focuses on epidemiology and public health studies, diagnostic and therapeutic innovations in cardiovascular health and cancer, and medical technology applications, including new mathematical tools, computer applications, and innovation in medical chemistry.
