Introduction to UC Connect

UC Connect is a pathways program designed to bridge the gap between current academic qualifications and the entry requirements of the desired course. This bridging program helps students gain access to a university education, even if they have recently missed out on a university place due to not meeting the required ATAR.


About this Course

UC Connect is a Commonwealth Supported program, meaning there are no course fees for students. However, students are required to pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). The program is offered at the University of Canberra College, Bruce, ACT, and has a duration of 0.5 years.


Admission Requirements

Admission to this course is based on an entrance rank, which can be achieved through:


  • Year 12 ATAR
  • Other Australian qualification (or equivalent) If applicants do not have any of the above qualifications, successful completion of an Australian Year 12 with the following will be considered:
  • ACT: Minimum of 3 C's
  • NSW: Minimum of 3 Band 3's Additional admission requirements include:
  1. Aged between 17-20 years
  2. Completed secondary education (Year 12) in the last two years
  3. Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
