- Studying abroad: You can integrate a period of study abroad into your degree program by taking part in one of the many exchange programs in place with leading universities in the US and Europe.
- Internships: Students complete a practical training in experimental psychology and a training in psychological assessment during courses. Students also complete a twelve-week internship during the program.

Application and Selection
At the University of Mannheim, a traditional numerus clausus does not exist. In the selection process, numerous criteria are taken into account. The selection process for the Bachelor's Program in Psychology takes the following criteria into account:
- the grade average achieved in your university entrance qualification,
- additionally the result of the voluntary student aptitude test BaPsy-DGPs.
- German language proficiency: If you do not have a German university entrance qualification, you must prove German language proficiency at C1 level.

- Application: The application deadline for the fall semesters starts on 1 June and ends on 15 July.
