Graduation Requirements (Kyoto University MBA)

  • The program duration is two years.
  • To graduate with an MBA from Kyoto University, students must complete 42 credits, including:
    • Core courses: 12 credits (program-specified).
    • Specialized courses: 18 credits or more (including 14 credits or more of program-specified courses).
    • Practical courses: 10 credits or more (including 8 credits or more of program-specified courses).
    • Advanced courses: 2 credits (completed through program workshops).
  • Each course is worth 2 credits.
  • Students can earn a maximum of 16 credits per semester at Kyoto University.
  • Up to 20 credits can be transferred from Cornell University.
  • A master's thesis is not required for graduation.
  • Graduation requirements for the MMH degree from Cornell University are separate.
