Clinical Medicine 6: Obstetrics and Gynaecology
This course is part of semester 10 in the medical programme and aims to provide students with the knowledge, competence and practical skills required to confidently and professionally diagnose and manage both common and serious conditions in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Information about the Course
The course includes both outpatient and inpatient care in obstetrics and gynaecology, with workplace-based learning playing a central role. Special emphasis is placed on preventive work as well as principles for diagnostics.

Karolinska University Hospital Solna
Information for students studying obstetrics and gynaecology in Solna, including course syllabus. Each spring semester, both Swedish-speaking students and exchange students are admitted, and classes are taught in English. The international course is offered during block 1 (February-March) with a written exam at the end of the semester (June).
