Programme Goals

Admission Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor's or professional degree of at least 180 credits in biomedicine, cell and molecular biology, pharmacy, medicine, nutrition, or equivalent.
  • English Proficiency: English B/English 6 with a minimum grade of Pass/E.
  • Selection: A cumulative assessment of the applicant's previous education, relevant work and/or research experience, and motivation for pursuing the programme.

Programme Structure

The programme consists of two years of full-time studies, with a focus on nutrition science, research methods, and scientific communication. The first year includes courses on the scientific evidence for diet and health, molecular and genetic mechanisms in nutrition science, and assessment and evaluation of diet, physical activity, and fitness. The second year includes courses on monitoring of non-communicable diseases, large-scale data collection and analysis, and professional development and communication in nutrition science.


Elective Courses

Students can choose elective courses to specialize in a particular area of nutrition science or to broaden their knowledge in related fields. The elective courses can be taken in the third or fourth semester, and the credits can vary from 0 to 30 credits.
