Program Overview
Master's Programme in Bioentrepreneurship
The Master's Programme in Bioentrepreneurship is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the bioentrepreneurship field. The programme includes a range of courses that cover topics such as theory in bioentrepreneurship, practical placement, project management, market analysis, industrial management, strategic management control, business development, and marketing and sales in life sciences.

Programme Start
The programme starts on Monday, 1 September 2025, with a mandatory roll call on campus and an introduction to the programme and the first course.
Registration
Registration for the first course is open between 18 August and 3 September 2025. Students must activate their student account before registering for courses.
Student Account Activation
An active student account is necessary for studies at Karolinska Institutet. New students need to activate their account according to the instructions under "Activation code" in the Student Account page. The activation code will be sent to the student's email in June 2025.
Declining Study Place
If a student decides to decline their study place, they must log in to their account at universityadmissions.se and go to "My pages". If a student decides to withdraw from their study place after the registration period has started, they must contact the Programme director.
Revoking Admission Decision
If a student does not attend the mandatory roll call, Karolinska Institutet can decide to revoke the decision to admit them to the programme.
Ladok
Ladok is the student administration system used at Karolinska Institutet. Students can register for courses, print out study certificates, and apply for certificates for completed education through Ladok.
