Program Overview
Introduction to MAPPA
The MAPPA program is a joint Master's program in Mathematical Analysis and Probability, operated by the University of Padova and University Paris Sciences & Lettres.
Program Structure
The program consists of 120 ECTS in two years, with 60 ECTS obtained at the home institution and 60 ECTS obtained at the partner institution. The language of instruction in both institutions is English.
Degrees Awarded
By following the program, a student receives both:
- the Laurea Magistrale in Mathematics from University of Padova
- the Master en Mathématiques et Applications from University Paris Sciences & Lettres
Career Opportunities
Newly graduated students will be in a strong position to apply to high-level doctoral programmes worldwide or for jobs in companies looking for applied mathematicians with a deep know-how in mathematical modeling.
Program Requirements
Students must respect the Study Program. The dissertation is prepared at the partner institution, jointly supervised by a professor of the partner and of the home institutions.
Admission
Students in Padova are admitted via a selection process. Financial support and scholarships for the mobility year are available.
