Program Overview


Doppia laurea in Giurisprudenza: Padova e Paris II (Panthéon-Assas)

The School of Law at the University of Padova offers a joint degree program in collaboration with the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Upon completion, students will receive a double degree in Law, both Italian and French, enabling them to access legal professions and judicial careers in both countries.


Program Overview

  • The joint degree program offers an integrated university education, allowing participants to leverage the excellence of both institutions.
  • Students will acquire the ability to enter the job market at a European and international level after completing the 5-year curriculum.
  • The program consists of 180 CFU in the first three years at the University of Padova and 120 CFU in the subsequent two years at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

Program Structure

  • Students will acquire specialized technical-legal knowledge in various areas of Italian and French law, both public and private.
  • The program includes in-depth study of historical and philosophical knowledge, providing critical tools to evaluate positive law institutions considering their historical evolution and the foundations of legal reasoning.
  • The degree will confer a Master's degree in Law in Italy and the diplomas of Maîtrise and Master 2 en Droit français et italien in France.

Admission Criteria

  • To access the program, students must check the relevant box on the enrollment form.
  • Only students enrolled in the Master's degree program in Law at the University of Padova can access the double degree option.
  • The agreement provides for the admission of the top 10 students each year, among those who have expressed interest in the option.

Financial Support

  • The period of study abroad will be funded by a specific university fund for international student mobility.
