Overview
The Master in Logistica per la Sicurezza e per l’Emergenza (MLSE) aims to train military and civilian personnel of the Ministry of Defense (AD) at a directive/directory level, personnel of other Public Administrations, Civil Protection, the volunteer world, professionals, and industry, with a high level of professionalism. The goal is to enable them to perform highly qualified functions, addressing the uncertainties that accompany national emergencies through a multidisciplinary approach.
Objectives
- The objective of the Master is to provide knowledge, skills, and tools that allow for the development, promotion, and communication of strategies and solutions to logistical problems underlying crisis or emergency situations, in highly variable contexts, with complex dynamics and high risk.
Professional Outcomes
- The Master is aimed at military and civilian personnel of the Ministry of Defense (AD) at a directive/directory level, personnel of other Public Administrations, Civil Protection, the volunteer world, professionals, and industry. It enables the formation of professionals with specific and structured preparation to address and solve national emergency uncertainties in a holistic perspective.
- At the end of the Master, the student will be able to acquire the ability to manage emergency situations autonomously or in an organized group, with a level of preparation that no current training path allows.
- The professional figures formed by the Master include:
- Technicians and Administrations with competencies in the field (local, regional, and central);
- Technicians and managers of public companies;
- Technicians and managers of private companies that manage public ownership that can influence the emergency case.

- Period: December 2025 - September 2026
- Teaching Method: Frontal for Ministry of Defense personnel or course participants in the Rome area (subject to CASD authorization), and distance learning for other participants. Activities will be scheduled weekly, on Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM (with lunch breaks and hourly suspensions). It is possible that activities may occasionally be held entirely online through a dedicated platform. Instructional visits are planned, which generally require departure from Rome.
- Language: Italian, but lessons and/or seminars may be in English.
- Master Location: Department of Civil, Building, and Environmental Engineering - ICEA, Via Marzolo, 9 - 35131 Padua.
- Available Places: Minimum total: 8, Maximum total: 20.
- Places in excess for DAC list participants: 5.
- Places in excess for candidates with disabilities: 5.
- The course adheres to the PA Protocol.
- There are 15 surplus places for Ministry of Defense military and civilian personnel with a registration fee of 0.00 Euro and payment of only fixed costs indicated in the announcement.
Contribution and Fees
- Registration Contribution: 4,000.00 + 22.50 Euro (first installment 2,400.00 + 22.50 Euro; second installment 1,600.00 Euro).
- Registration Contribution for DAC List Participants: 800.00 + 22.50 Euro.
- Registration Contribution for People with Disabilities: 22.50 Euro.
- Registration Contribution for Auditors: 2,000.00 + 22.50 Euro.
Scholarships and Facilities
- Scholarships: 3 prizes of 1,500 Euros each to those who have attended at least 90% of the lessons and have distinguished themselves based on the evaluation of the final exam, for a number of participants exceeding 30.
