Program Overview


Master in Pianificazione, progetto, costruzione e gestione di infrastrutture aeroportuali (MIA)

Objectives

The Master aims to train experts with a high level of professionalism, able to perform highly qualified functions within entities, companies, engineering firms operating in the sector of planning, design, construction, and management of airport infrastructure. To this end, the master intervenes on:


  • training, through diversification of teaching topics, based on multidisciplinarity (engineering, economics, environment, law, linguistics, etc.);
  • conferring practical preparation, through involvement in integrated design activities;
  • facilitating interface with entities already operating in the airport infrastructure sector;
  • transferring expertise.

Professional Outcomes

The Master is aimed at graduates (master's degree), seeking employment or employees or freelancers with basic preparation in the subject. It allows for the training of highly qualified professionals, able to hold positions of responsibility in public and private entities, companies, engineering firms operating in the sector of planning, design, construction, and management of airports. At the end of the course, participants are also able to carry out specific research activities on the analyzed topics. The professional figures formed by the Master are:


  • highly qualified technicians for airport management companies;
  • consultants and operators of entities operating in flight control and airport security;
  • specialized engineers in the construction of airport infrastructure, superstructures, and plants;
  • experts in airport planning and design, suitable for managerial roles in engineering firms.

The course adheres to the PA Protocol.


Facilities / Scholarships

In the presence of more than 12 enrolled students, n. 3 prizes for the amount of Euro 1,500 each, to those who have attended at least 90% of the lessons and have distinguished themselves based on the evaluation of the final exam.
