Introduction to the OSRIC Program

The Corso in Odontoiatria ospedaliera e in ricerca clinica (OSRIC) provides participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to operate within the National Health Service structures. The course enables students to interpret and execute company, regional, and national health targets correctly, as well as address issues related to the provision of dental therapies in public environments, with particular attention to current LEA (Essential Levels of Care) in Odontoiatria.

One of the primary objectives of the OSRIC program is to make students aware of how scientific research should be integrated into care pathways to improve the efficiency of intervention protocols and make them appropriate in terms of results and cost-benefit ratio.   • IMPLANTOLOGIA CHIRURGICA ORALE: Osteointegrated implants, immediate and delayed loading, principles of bone regeneration, oral surgery, and treatment of peri-implantitis.
  • PARODONTOLOGIA: Non-surgical periodontal preparation, indications and procedures for periodontal surgery, mucogingival and resettive surgery, periodontal regeneration.
  • ODONTOIATRIA CONSERVATIVA: Conservative materials and techniques, endodontics and crown reconstruction, adhesive procedures in conservative dentistry.
  • ANESTESIA ODONTOIATRICA: Analysis of the patient's general condition, ASA classification, anesthesiological preparation, pre-sedation, conscious sedation, general anesthesia in dentistry.
  • ORTODONZIA: Orthodontic diagnosis, traditional orthodontic techniques, lingual orthodontics, pre-surgical orthodontics.
  • ODONTOIATRIA PEDIATRICA: Approach to the pediatric patient, techniques and materials in endodontics and conservative dentistry in pediatric age, prevention of caries and malocclusions, interceptive orthodontics.
