Program Overview
Program Overview
The MECON program, also known as Metafisica. Dal canone filosofico alle prospettive contemporanee, is a course of high formation that aims to develop in-depth knowledge and critical skills in the field of contemporary philosophy, with a specific focus on metaphysical and ontological issues.
Program Description
The course is organized into 6 lessons, each dedicated to a fundamental theme of metaphysics: existence, time, identity, modality, personal identity, and scientific realism. These themes will be addressed starting from the analysis of the positions of some authors of the philosophical tradition, emphasizing the thematic continuity between the "traditional" questions and contemporary philosophical research, especially of an analytical matrix.
Target Audience
The course is aimed at high school teachers interested in disciplinary and didactic updating and, more generally, cultural operators interested in updating their philosophical skills related to contemporary metaphysics.
